Fossil Hunting
A UNESCO World Heritage Site protected area of the British coastline, an important place for both humans and animals. Stretching far to the east into Dorset, the Jurassic Coast is 96.5 miles long and boasts prime conditions for fossil hunting. Jurassic ammonites, brachiopods and prehistoric fish are found at the eastern end of the site. Further westward you may even encounter Triassic fossils. A fun day out to be had by all!
